The lunacy of modern Societal thought:

[Or a society on the verge of meltdown]

Since the news of the shooting in Newtown, Connecticut broke, it seems that no one is grasping the true horror of the event.  Gasp!, Shock!, Horror! have all emblazoned the headlines around the world but the story has been quickly usurped by every vigilante desperado out-there to run with it for their own cause. Gun lobbyists, anti-gun lobbyists, mental-health advocates and their opponents. from President to Pastor everyone is once again grabbing their torches and heading to Dr Frankenstein's castle. And then there are the more sinister elements that considers no tragedy off limits for their motives, these are the most detestable, and we have seen a few of those also. And I have no doubt in my mind that over time, forensic images of the classroom will eventually end up on one of the websites that proliferates macabre gore for the salacious appetites of the lost. We are a society spiraling out of control.

I applaud individuals like Dr. James White, who are brave enough to speak out on the original cause The cause that eats away at a society so passively and like a distractive noise that over time becomes normalized and inaudible to the senses, and soon goes unnoticed.  And that cause he speaks of is evil. This was a truly evil act that occurred at sandy hook school. And sans the Hollywood stereotyping of incarnate evil, no one has yet approached this act or any of the preceding ones, with the honesty to admit this truth..

We are approaching a complete breakdown in our society. Values, morals, ethics, accountability and credentials are all for sale to the highest bidder. This is evil in the broad light of day. Governing officials are now held in a critical esteem that was once reserved for snake-oil salesmen. Corporate, financial and resource barons now hold sway on policy and increasingly it is getting harder and harder to distinguish between the two Now ditto these ethical boundaries down the rungs of the societal ladder, and in each station of life ethics and moral conduct are treated as a form of divine attribution, not common place intrinsic value.

What is left to impression the minds of the up-incoming of our society? Corporate propaganda, religious & community moral double speak. A government that bullies and intimidates any who resist its policy, all the while preaching a doctrine to youth not to bully. Social factions teaching that sexual identity should be taught in schools, but not sexual education. That extortion, intimidation, greed and selfishness are wrong, but when they go out into the workforce they find that these are the intrinsic values corporations trade on and usually the only way to succeed.  The list of double-standards, contradictions, and rhetoric could go on and on, but the end result is a confused morally bankrupt ethically voided individual. All we need now is a misdiagnoses of personality disorder, a pharmaceutical designed  for a dysfunctional brain, administered to a functioning brain with a socially disordered mind and you have the perfect ticking time-bomb, and sadly one goes off occasionally, and sadly many are hurt.

What's missing from this story? Oh yea, Guns! There is no doubt that the availability of guns played a role in this. But was it the direct cause? No! Then why  is it at the top of the discussion right now? Because it is a tangible distraction, and there is one thing that politicians have proven over and over again and that is, that they are good at distracting ownership, blame and consensus away from the truth and away from resolution. Something to think about, what was the real cause of this act of evil?

Fathers Day 2011
Since everyone is posting pictures of their dad, this is mine. I came across these, and other photo's that belong to my older brother, when doing some cleaning. I didn't know him very well, matter of fact not at all. He was pretty much out of the picture by the time I was old enough to know what was what, and who was who. He came back for a short time when I was around 8 or so, I remember going to work a few times with him, he was a plumber, but other than that I don't remember ever having a conversation with him. The last time I saw him alive was when I was 14, he had just gotten out of prison. It appears he moonlighted as a getaway driver for a gang that used to knock off jewelery stores.
He died somewhere between 1977 - 1978 and I remember my mothers words as she stood over the casket "At least I know where you are now John", she said.

I wish I could say I feel something for the man, but it's hard to feed the soul from seeds never planted. What's most important is I don't feel anything against him. To me he will always be just another pilgrim taking all the wrong directions on his lonely way back home. There were a lot of lies penned in his absence, a lot of "we could haves, if he only wouldn't have", orated to excuse away personal shortcomings. But truth, in all it's harsh light, also ushers in the peace after the storm. Most just stay locked in the memory and use it to shape their future, prisoners of their own ignorance, and a deceptive system that would keep them there for their own ignorance filled devices. For me I know different, and if that solitary act was the intention of the exercise, then it was accomplished that's all that matters.

Well God bless you and God keep John, I'll never know the outcome, the spirits I communed with are all locked away quite safely now, If you were anything like me, and I think you were, you'll know that now, and find shelter there now. And when the crossroads appear on the horizon, and we by fate meet once again, maybe then I shall get to know you, and answers if any shall pass away, their significance laid to rest, like these bodies we once shared.

Original Globe Story Harper to prorogue yet again
Canadians barely tolerated him when he was at least attempting to run a government, albeit because there was no real threat to his musollian dynasty. But this is a clear slap in the face of democracy even by the tarnished standards it is cemented with these days. Well good luck to him, he may just find that Canadians are not so obliging to catering to his Laissez-faire style of governance and opt for the anyone but strategy. I personally think, that like Ernie Eves he has run out of ways to fudge the numbers, his caucus combined doesn't have a clue how to move forward, so they are looking for a Kim Cambell to take the fall. Then like their Mentor Mulroney skulk into the shady underworld that they have created for themselves to continue their parasitic leaching.

The nature of God

The story of the seeker and the radio:

A  man, who on happening upon a big old table top radio, heard the voice coming from it, and determined that God was in the radio. Braving to eventually open the back of the radio, he discovered no God. And thus a portion proclaimed “There is no God”.

The man then determined that God must be in one of the many tubes nested there inside the radio and as time progressed and he gained the expertise to grasp the nature and function of the tube, he found no God. And thus a portion proclaimed there is no God.

The man then determined that God must be in the circuit board, where the tubes are nested, inside the cabinet of the old radio. The man continued his study of the nature of the radio, read countless books, formed countless theories, but found no God. And thus a portion proclaimed “There is no God”.

Now deep in despair, feeling somewhat betrayed, somewhat disheartened, but mostly disillusioned he noticed that beside the old radio, there was a bookcase and on that bookcase there was an old bible and as he marvelled at its ornate leather scrolled binding and gold leaf pages, he noticed that one page had the corner folded and broke the even flow of the pages. He opened to that page; Job 38:1 “Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said”  His curiosity now spurred he continued to read, verse by verse, chapter by chapter, then he arrived at Job 40:7.

Then the mystery started to unfold, it became clearer and clearer and so he continued to read, and as it was made apparent to Job in the book that bears his name, that lo in Job 42:5 it stated:  “I have heard of thee by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth thee.” The man smiled closed the book and placed it back on the shelf, glanced over at the radio, and yelled “God is not in the radio”  and a portion proclaimed there is no God.

God  simply “is”  it’s not religion it is reality proven to an individual , by an individual , for an individual.  And to everyone the same opportunity exists, to them, by them, for them. It’s never about proof but about acceptance. Not about choosing what to believe, but simply choosing to believe, and then accepting the gift.

Globe & Maill : Cornwall Inquiry

They forgot the most important conclusion, that being; thanks to the beneficence of the always embracing legal system, decades of prosperous luxury were lavished on our dedicated men and women of the legal community. Homes were bought, cottage properties purchased, automobiles, snowmobiles, sons and daughters sent to prestigious schools of higher learning. Look at what escalating this case to the heights it achieved, did for the economy. It's time we look beyond trivial things like lives, characters, credibility and come to the realization, stunts like this are just plain "good for business" and whats good for business is good for the economy, and in tough times like now, isn't that what we really need. So friends don't look at this as another Susan Nelles fiasco, but look beyond, this was just plain good for business.
